What is the booking fee charged by CHEFIN?
The CHEFIN Booking Fee is a fee charged to each booking through the platform. It is inclusive of the total price. The fee ensures CHEFIN runs smoothly and covers the costs of the products and services we provide. The fee is a 15% plus GST inclusive in your booking total amount when paid & confirmed. The fee covers the following:
As part of your booking, a small non-refundable, taxable component is included. This ensures:
- 24/7 customer support, 24/7 client support throughout planning & delivery,
- Public Liability Insurance, Public liability insurance for your event,
- Secure payment processing, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Direct Debit, AMEX payments,
- Funds management & distribution, funds held until service is delivered,
- Chef recruitment, onboarding, Chef vetting, and quality checks,
- Website & Software costs, Ongoing platform, technology, and service management.
This component is built into every CHEFIN experience to guarantee quality, safety, and peace of mind.

- Romantic Dinner for 2: $1,225.00 total inclusive of $183.75 Booking Fee & $18.38 GST
- 3-Course Meal for 8: $1,560.00 total inclusive of $234.00 Booking Fee & $23.40 GST
- Full Course Meal for 6: $1,470.00 inclusive of $220.50 Booking Fee & $22.05 GST
