When you sign up as a chef with CHEFIN, you can trust that there will be absolutely no direct payments, subscription fees, or upfront costs involved at all. When you work with the CHEFIN community you are working as an independent private chef, and all we do is take a small commission on all bookings made with you. If there are no bookings made, you won’t be charged a single cent.

Once you have been signed up as a CHEFIN chef, however, we do require you to complete a Chef Audition (induction on-boarding). This will involve you cooking up a trial meal for a group of up to 10 CHEFIN foodies, and serve as a testimony to your incredible talents!

CHEFIN fee structure is simple and as follows:

• 3% to cover the costs for your insurance
• 6% to cover the costs for marketing activities
• 8% to CHEFIN to keep us going and cover our operational costs
