Daily Meal Prep by a Private Chef
$264.00
What is this?
This isn’t a meal kit you assemble yourself, and it isn’t a mass-produced ready meal reheated from a factory line. A private chef comes to shop, cook and portion a genuine weekly meal delivery service, then leaves your kitchen exactly as they found it. You get real dishes, developed around your taste and your dietary needs, not a fixed menu printed for ten thousand other households this week.

Your chef visits two times across the week, for example Monday and Thursday, to shop and cook and pack your meals fresh each time. Between those visits, 2 meals a day are covered for 2 adults and 2 kids under 8. One day costs $264, inclusive of GST. Book a single delivery for 3 days to try it, or set up an ongoing weekly service so your chef keeps coming without you having to re-book each time.
This package is built for a household of up to 2 adults and 2 kids under 8. Extra meals are charged at $45 per meal. If yours is bigger than that, contact our concierge team for a custom quote before you add to cart.

- A kitchen left exactly as it was found
Your menu will be fully customised on a daily basis by your Private Chef.
Menu examples
Your menu will be fully customised based on your requirements by a private chef. The two menus below are illustrative, drawn from the kind of week a CHEFIN chef typically plans; final dishes are confirmed with your chef, not selected from a fixed list.
These are the adult dishes. For children under 8, your chef prepares a milder, family-friendly version of the same meal, the same herb-crusted chicken without the chilli glaze, so the whole family eats together rather than cooking a separate kids’ dinner.

How Your Weekly Meal Prep Works
- Your chef plans a Monday-to-Friday menu around your household before the week starts
- They visit 2 times during the week, for example, Monday and Thursday, with a fresh shopping list each time
- Each visit’s cooking is cooled, portioned and packed into fridge-ready containers
- Every container is labelled with reheating instructions
- The kitchen is cleaned and left as it was found after every visit
- By Friday, the household has had 2 home-cooked meals a day without anyone in the house cooking one of them
FAQ
How much does a week actually cost, and what do I get for it?
A full week of 5 days will cost $1,320, inclusive of GST, covers Monday to Friday: 2 meals a day for 2 adults and 2 kids under 8, cooked fresh across 2 chef visits during the week rather than one big Sunday batch.
What if there are more than 4 of us, or my kids are older?
This package is set up for 2 adults and 2 kids under 8. Extra meal portions can be added at $45 per meal. For a bigger household, older kids who need adult-sized portions, or any other portion-size configuration, contact our concierge team and we’ll put together a custom quote.
Is this a one-off, or an ongoing service?
Whichever suits you. Book a single week if you want to try it first, or set up an ongoing weekly service, like a subscription but with no lock-in contract. You can move between the two whenever you like.
What if I want to skip a week or stop altogether?
A single week doesn’t continue after it, so there’s nothing to cancel. If you’re on ongoing service, tell your concierge you’d like to skip a week or stop, and they’ll sort it.
What happens once my booking is confirmed?
After booking, you’ll receive confirmation along with a brief questionnaire about your food preferences, dietary needs and any special requests, so your meal plan for the week is settled before your chef’s first visit.
Can the menu be tailored to my dietary needs?
Yes. Your menu is planned specifically around you, not pulled from a standard rotation, whether that’s vegetarian, vegan, high-protein or something else entirely.
How does CHEFIN choose the chef who prepares my meals?
We match a screened private chef to your suburb, cuisine preference and dietary requirements.
Do I need to be home when the meals are delivered or prepared?
Most clients aren’t. Your chef shops, cooks and packs the meals in your kitchen during the day, then leaves everything labelled and ready for the fridge.

Frequently Asked questions
What happens once my booking is confirmed?
After booking, you’ll receive confirmation along with a brief questionnaire about your event, food preferences, dietary needs and any special requests. From there, our concierge team coordinates the chef, menu and practical details leading up to the day.
How does CHEFIN choose the right chef for my event?
We select a carefully screened private chef whose experience suits your location, preferred cuisine, guest requirements and style of occasion. Chef availability is also taken into account, and you’ll be introduced to your chef before the event.
Can the menu be tailored to my guests?
Yes. Your menu is developed specifically for your occasion rather than taken from a standard restaurant menu. Your chef will consider your tastes, dietary needs and selected experience, and you can provide feedback before the menu is approved.
What facilities will the chef need?
Your chef will usually require a clean, functional kitchen or suitable preparation space, access to power and running water, and enough fridge space for the ingredients. Crockery, cutlery, glassware and table settings are generally supplied by the host unless your chosen package states otherwise. We’ll confirm the requirements with you beforehand.
When will the chef arrive at the venue?
For most events, the chef arrives approximately 90 minutes before the planned dining time. This allows enough time to set up, organise the workspace and complete the final preparation. Arrival times may vary depending on the menu, guest numbers and service format.
What is included in a CHEFIN private dining experience?
Your chosen package may cover menu planning, ingredient shopping, food preparation, cooking, plating, service and cleaning of the kitchen area. The inclusions are outlined clearly before you book, so you know what is being handled and can spend the occasion with your guests.

- Households managing a child’s dietary needs, without cooking two separate meals every night
- New parents who need a week of real food without leaving the house
- Anyone recovering from surgery, illness or a new baby who needs a week of proper meals without the effort
Weekly Meal Prep & Delivery Across Australia
CHEFIN’s weekly meal prep runs across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, with chefs matched to your suburb rather than driving in from across the city. Search “private chef meal prep near me” and you’ll find CHEFIN chefs already cooking in kitchens like yours, whether that’s a Bondi apartment or a Brisbane hills family home.
Why Pay a Private Chef for Meal Prep?
$1,320 for a working week is more than a meal-kit box, and more than a tray of ready-made meals delivered chilled from a central kitchen. It should be. A meal kit still leaves you at the stove most nights. A ready-made meal was cooked days ago, sealed, and trucked in, so by Thursday you’re eating something that spent a long week in a truck. CHEFIN sends an actual chef into your kitchen three separate times that week, cooking fresh each visit, so Wednesday’s dinner was cooked on Wednesday, not the Sunday before. You’re not paying more for the same thing, packaged nicer. You’re paying for a different thing entirely: two kids under 8 eating a real, freshly cooked dinner alongside the adults, five nights a week, without anyone in the house standing at the stove.
What “chef-prepared” actually means
There’s a real difference between food that’s been mass-produced and chilled for a supply chain, and food that’s cooked to order the same day it’s eaten. A CHEFIN chef shops that morning, cooks in your kitchen, and hands the meal straight to your fridge, not a courier van. Nothing here was delivered from a distribution centre, and nothing needs a week-long shelf life planned around it.
Meal prep without the Sunday afternoon
Home meal prep usually means a Sunday spent shopping, chopping and portioning six containers of the same rice bowl. CHEFIN’s version keeps the convenience of meals ready in the fridge with no weeknight cooking, and swaps out the sameness for a menu that changes with your chef’s ideas each week.
Why more households are outsourcing the week’s cooking
Grocery prices haven’t made cooking cheaper, and the return of home meal prep as a healthy-eating habit hasn’t made it faster. What’s changed is who’s doing the cooking: more households are handing the weekly shop and cook to someone else entirely, the same way they’d outsource cleaning, and keeping the sit-down meal without the Tuesday-night effort.
