Around the World dining Series Part 2: 6 December 2020, 8 Countries cuisines are being paired with 8 drinks

Inspired by the Japanese way of dining Flynn McLennan has partnered with CHEFIN to create a series of dining events that take us through how people are dining around the world. Each menu will be designed by a Private Chef by CHEFIN and paired by Flynn with a set of meticulously crafted drinks.

You will be sitting at the bar directly at the forefront of the action and be able to freely interact with the chef & mixologist that are preparing your dishes & drinks. Observing the preparation is a memorable spectacle in itself. The stories and recommendations that the chef & mixologist will share with you also add to the intimate dining experience.

Vietnam:

  • Gỏi cuốn with nước chấm (Rice paper rolls, prawn and fish sauce, peanuts and scallions)
  • Bánh xèo, Lettuce, chilli, lemon, garlic (Pancakes with rice flour, beef, sprouts)

Thailand:

  • Chicken skin satay, peanut sauce (chicken satay with kafir lime, lemongrass and galangal, crunchy peanut sauce)
  • Som Tam boats (Raw papaya boats, beans, chilli and palm sugar)

Singapore:

  • Hainanese chicken rice, ginger root and sweet soy sauce
  • Singapore style chilli Crab- Soft shell

Malaysia:

  • Nasi lemak
  • Pandan coconut rice, fried fish, peanuts, anchovies and sambal.

Indonesia:

  • Gado Gado with shrimp crackers
  • Murtabak, with egg and chicken mince

Sri Lanka

  • Chicken Kootu roti
  • Ceylon tea Jelly, Cucumber with Curry leaves and pepper

Laos

  • Larb with pork mince, mushrooms and ground rice
  • Mu Ping, pork skewers, Sticky Rice

Philippines

  • Fish balls with prawn
  • Chicken bites, adobo style
