Since you’re taking care of the most important part of an event (the meal), you’ll have to arrive early so as to be prepared for any setbacks or issues. This is essential to being an organised, trustworthy, and diligent chef, and we expect all of our chefs to adhere to the ‘arrive early’ rule.
We ask that chefs arrive at an event at least one and a half hours before the agreed start time. So if an event is set to start at 4:00 pm, we ask that you arrive at 2:30 pm. This will help make sure you’re familiar with the kitchen space and facilities and have sufficient time to prep without being delayed by small setbacks.
